Creating effects that match the films we score is what we're all about. And nothing is more fun than seeing the results as we design, build, and perform machines that make our films exciting. 

Our GFFO effects student engineers get to work with professionals to create effects for movie steam trains using real steam engines and more. So if you or someone you know is interested in steam and mechanical engineering and practical sound effects techniques, this program is for you!

Sound effects will be presented live along with the Grand Feature Film Orchestra along with the movie.
