The Grand Feature Film Orchestra's turnkey events make live movie concerts easy!

MOVIE THEATER LIVE-TO-SCREEN EVENTS

We're designed for cinema.

No stage needed – just a standard movie auditorium.
Our orchestra fits right into a standard single-screen or large multiplex theater between the screen and the first row of seats. We do this by adjusting the number of musicians depending on the venue's needs. Most movie theaters work great with 7 musicians.

No special theater lighting, sound system or aditional staff needed.
We bring our own instruments, chairs, stands, orchestra amplification, and effects equipment.

No additional theater down time is needed.
Just schedule us like one of your regular movies! We can usually set up within your theater's standard screening schedule.

Easy seating capacity accommodations.
We can successfully handle theaters with seating capacities ranging from 85 to 1,000+.

We're cost-effective.
In most cases, we're more affordable than your standard movie screenings.

We provide digital and print promotional materials.
Online and on-site print and digital posters, lobby cards, and customized movie trailers are provided.

We provide the specialized feature-film DCP for perfect live movie performance operations without additional theater staff.
Each DCP is specially designed for frictionless theater operation. Even time for orchestra setup, audience address, and closing is baked into the DCP. There's nothing special to do but keep the popcorn hot and sodas flowing.

We're compatible with both standard digital and PLF auditoriums (2k and 4k).

Each DCP is custom designed for your projection system and screen dimensions. From small boutique auditoriums to large PLF and historic larger seating venues.

Easy PLF Screen Accommodations

For your PLF auditoriums, we can provide special formatted DCPs with baked-in custom gate adjustments for floor-to-ceiling screens  to accommodate the GFFO live musicians while preserving sightlines.

We have a wide range of movies to fit your theater's unique personality.
We have more than 55 movies in our growing repertoire of silent and sound films, all with a live orchestra!

We offer many additional audience-immersion extras to make the movie experience more memorable.
Scent-o-Vision, Emergo-Esque, Electro-Rama, Air-o-Rama, and Partici-Rama are among the features we use, along with the live orchestra.
