The Grand Feature film Orchestra is honored to perform on February 15th at the legendary Lark Theater. The GFFO will be presenting their Charlie Chaplin-Buster Keaton Film Festival. This is three famous short films by the kings of physical comedy, all with a live orchestra.
Keaton's The Scarecrow (1920) - 19 minutes
Two best friends fall into a bitter love triangle as they both meet the same girl of their dreams.
Chaplin's The Rink (1916) - 24 minutes
The Tramp takes a job as a waiter in a posh restaurant. His clumsiness soon gets him into trouble, but his graceful skating skills impress a young lady at a nearby roller rink.
Keaton's One Week (1920) - 19 minutes
A newlywed couple decides to build their dream house from a do-it-yourself kit. It becomes a hilarious undertaking!
All three movies demonstrate the deft skill of these master filmmakers. Their stunning live-action physical comedy went on to inspire many animated productions, such as Warner Bros' LOONEY TUNES.
All three movies will be presented with a LIVE orchestra in the theater, The Grand Feature Film Orchestra!
