Over the GFFO's history, we've studied, restored, and created live film shows for 21 movies and counting. From the early days of sci-fi cinema with A TRIP TO THE MOON (1902) and THE LOST WORLD (1925), the comedies of Buster Keaton and Harrold Lloyd to adventure classics like THE THIEF OF BAGDAD and WINGS, the GFFO has brought film together with live music and sound effects to today’s audiences in a fresh new way.
We're excited to take our movie music on the road. Beginning in October with TEENAGERS FROM OUTER SPACE performed LIVE with the GFFO's professional theater orchestra at the Marina Theatre in San Francisco!
This classic 1959 outer-space gem has all the fun of the GFFO's live music expertly synchronized to the action on the screen and, of course, with SCENT-O-VISION—“Don't just see the move—SMELL the movie!”
