Getting new movies to add to our performance list - Part 1 - Our first Christmas film!

What's better than adding a very cool B sci-fi Christmas movie, Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (1964), in this upcoming holiday season?

Martians plot to kidnap Santa to bring holiday cheer to their planet, but Kris Kringle has other plans.

Silly but endearing, this strange sci-fi gem was popular when it was first released in 1964. It has everything you'd expect from a space adventure produced on a shoestring budget in the 1960s, including funny acting, ridiculous special effects, great music, and lots of laughs!

The GFFO is in the process of creating an all-new score based on Tchaikovsky's music with a modern twist, presented in Scent-o-Vision. It also includes a Christmas sing-a-long!

Work has already begun on restoring the visuals to their full-color splendor, inserting the correct subtitles, adding our signature Scent-o-Vision, and rescoring the entire film's music for live performance.

Set to premiere on December 15th! at Marina Theatre!
