Of course, there are many memorable characters in TEENAGERS FROM OUTER SPACE, but none so much as Gramps Morgan, enthusiastically played by Harvey B. Dunn.
Dunn had quite a prolific career beyond this little gem of the cinema, spanning 17 years from 1948. His most infamous were three films from director Ed Wood – Bride of the Monster, Sinister Urge, and Night of the Ghouls.
Here, Dunn plays the good-hearted grandpa of the heroine, Betty Morgan. Everyone cheers for Gramps' in this fun, terrifying story of seafood gone wrong! Be ready to root for Gramps as he gets into a whole lot of trouble!
Speaking of Betty, you can't forget this high-spirited Earthgirl of our hero alien from another world. She knows what she wants, and nobody, not even man-eating lobsters, will stand in her way!
The role was played by the young actor Dawn Bender, known for appearing on hundreds of radio shows and working with George Burns and John Wayne early in her career as a child actor. Teenagers from Outer Space was to be her final role before moving on to being a schoolteacher in Los Angeles.
David Love plays Derek, a good soul from another world. He's in love with Betty and determined to help the Earthlings defend their planet. He has a dark secret that even he doesn't know. But will love conquer all?

Finally, we can't forget Thor, the space villain played over the top by an actor seemingly looking for an Oscar nod, Brian Grant. Not much is known about this actor from the 50s. He appeared in Border Patrol, Matinee Theatre, and Teenagers from Outer Space.
